Deschampsia ‘Golden Veil’ Tufted Hair Grass

An evergreen grass with stiff, bluish-green leaves. A cool season grass it produces golden-yellow flowers from late spring which stay throughout the year, fading to a beige colour as the seasons progress. Old flower stems can be cut down in spring. Happy in most soils, it needs a moist position if grown in full sun, preferring partial shade if the soil tends to be free-draining. Divide the clump every three years to maintain vigour.
